The Great Vermont Bike Tour of 2024
Two years ago, Nate and I set off to ride the Green Mountain Gravel Growler. We slightly modified the route to start and end right from Littleton, and cut out the singletrack sections as we were riding our touring bikes. It was a blast & it was the longest tour we had done at the time. Last year we rode around England, also on the touring bikes for a full month. Now it's time for our big bike adventure of 2024 - our first true "bikepacking" trip, aiming for slightly less gear, more technical terrain, and utilizing our highly capable shredders of all the gnar, the Moonshiners.
We are set to depart less than a week from today. The route is a mix of our favorite sections of the Gravel Growler (never again Jefferson notch!) and a couple areas of Vermont (and breweries) that we have yet to explore. Looking forward to lots of time in the saddle, hanging with cows, remote roads full of fall foliage, and all the best beer and burritos VT has to offer.
